As we’ve grown, we’ve been fortunate enough to be able to use our gifting expertise to help give back to charities and causes that speak to us. Our Continued Efforts to Go Green with Eco-Friendly Gift Delivery
 

The GBO family is also a firm believer in environmentally conscious gift delivery. Our team is constantly working to ensure everything about our gifts is as environmentally friendly as possible while offering gourmet options. We are currently working to improve our packaging to include more environmentally friendly materials and biodegradable tape.

With employees all over the world, we are mindful of giving back to every community we work in. The biggest way we do this is through our partnership with local companies, gift shops, florists, and delivery services. By sourcing locally, we minimize our carbon footprint and improve our work toward eco-friendly gift delivery. Since our gifts are made to order locally, all of our gifts travel a much shorter distance than their cross-border counterparts. We offer you ethically sourced gifts that support communities, something you can really be proud of sending.

But it doesn’t end there: with many of our employees able to work from home, we help minimize their carbon footprint, as well as enable them to have more time with their family and friends.
 
 

Socially Conscious Gift Delivery: Offering Humanitarian Aid
 

The attack that began on Ukraine in February 2022 shocked the world. With members of our teams on both sides of the border and in surrounding countries, this conflict hit close to home. Since the start of the conflict, our company has dedicated time, resources, and donations to help assist in humanitarian efforts. We currently have a member of our team who is paid to be a full-time volunteer in Ukraine. Thanks to her tireless efforts, we are able to get much-needed first-hand knowledge of what supplies are needed most and where to send them. Charitable Gift Delivery: Charities We’ve Supported So Far
 

Thanks to our wonderful employees and customers, we’ve had the privilege of launching several different initiatives to help give back.

In the past, our team worked together to give some gifts free to those with loved ones in hospitals who can otherwise not afford them.

We’ve also had the honor of teaming up with the Rainforest Trust. For 3 years, we highlighted gifts in our catalog that would lead to donations to this effort to save and re-grow vital rainforests. Thanks to your generosity, we were able to give monthly donations to support this important work.

Our team also fought to support the fight against cancer. We worked with the National Breast Cancer Foundation, INC. in 2016. Thanks to your support, we generated $1,500 in donations to this worthy cause.
 
 

Gifts that Support Communities: Working Together During Covid-19
 

During the Covid-19 outbreak, members of our team worked together to launch MasksForDoctors.org — the initiative to help medical workers fighting COVID-19 by supplying them with Masks, Coverall Suits, Face Shields, and PPE. Working together, we raised over $67,000 USD to get critical supplies to where they were needed most. A huge THANK YOU to our partners and local suppliers for helping coordinate local delivery and minimize costs wherever possible.
