How are gifts delivered to overseas locations?

We use mail services like FedEx, DHL, TNT, UPS, and USPS for most deliveries. In areas where these services aren’t as fast or reliable, we opt for a local accredited courier instead.
 

How do you obtain recipients’ addresses? If the address can’t be found, am I eligible for a full refund?

To determine the most suitable delivery location, we’ll contact your recipient via email or phone. If the recipient is unresponsive, we’ll notify you and offer the option to send the gift to someone else or provide a (partial) refund.

Please ensure that you provide a complete and accurate address when placing your order. If the courier cannot get to the location due to issues like gated access or an incorrect street name or house number, we can arrange another delivery to the corrected address, if available. Be aware that additional delivery charges may apply.
 

Can I have my own gift sent to another country through your service?

We cannot accommodate such requests, as we are a concierge service specializing in sourcing and delivering items within the destination country. We do not operate as a shipping company and do not facilitate cross-border deliveries.
 

What is the delivery time?

Delivery times vary depending on the location. In most cases, we can deliver within 2–4 business days. For specific delivery times by country, please refer to our delivery times page.

What is GiftyLink?

GiftyLink is a virtual greeting card perfect for last-minute gifts or missed important dates. Your recipient will receive an email, SMS, or WhatsApp message on the desired date, notifying them of an upcoming gift delivery, along with your personalized greeting card. This gives them a gift to look forward to and the chance to send you a thank-you note.
 

Is wine and alcohol delivery available in all serviced locations?

We deliver wine and alcohol to all locations, except where prohibited by law. Currently, we cannot deliver baskets containing alcohol to countries in the Middle East, such as the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia, where alcohol delivery is forbidden.

In the United States, recipients must be at least 21 years old to purchase or accept gifts containing wine, beer, or other alcoholic beverages. Adult signatures are required for all alcoholic shipments.

Note: Alcohol cannot be shipped via military mail (APO/FPO, military addresses).

Where do you deliver?

Can I send gifts to unlisted locations?

For unlisted destinations, we may need to charge an extra fee for distant delivery. Please contact us for more information and assistance.
 

What is the delivery fee for unlisted locations?

Delivery fees for unlisted locations typically range from $20 to $39 USD. Contact us to inquire about delivery possibilities for specific locations.
 

Can I contact the gift delivery office in my selected city?

Our customer service is handled via email or phone by support representatives from our international offices. They will relay any special instructions to our gift delivery agents and florists.
 

What are your delivery times? Can you guarantee a specific delivery time?

We deliver between 9 am and 9 pm in most serviced locations, local time. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee an exact delivery time.
 

Why is my credit card charged before my order is delivered?

When you click “Submit,” you authorize us to charge your credit card in real time. You’ll receive an email notification from our secure payment provider, VeriSign. If you’d like to place an order in advance and delay the credit card charge, submit an Offline Order and contact us to arrange the charge. Please note that we need to charge your credit card at least 1 business day before delivery.
 

Can you deliver to an incomplete address or without a phone number?

We can try to contact your recipient via email or instant messenger to arrange delivery and clarify address details. However, without a phone number, we can only guarantee and reconfirm an exact delivery date once we hear back from the recipient.
 

What if my recipient isn’t home?

We can leave the gift at the door or with neighbors, place a note with our local phone number on the recipient’s door, or attempt re-delivery for an additional fee. Note that leaving gifts at the door isn’t recommended for apartment buildings.
 

Can I add an item to my order?

If your order isn’t already en route, you can make changes or add an item. You’ll need to resubmit your credit card information. Contact us for assistance.
 

Can I preview the gift before it’s delivered?

While it’s not always feasible to provide a preview of the gift before delivery, particularly in regions where we rely on carriers like FedEx, DHL, TNT, UPS, and USPS (mainly in North America and Western Europe), we are open to such requests. Since gift baskets in these areas are typically pre-assembled, our local offices may not have a policy to share images.

However, feel free to make a request as we handle such inquiries individually. We’ll respond to you via email with a definitive answer.
 

Does the courier contact the recipient before delivering the gift?

Typically, we ask for the recipient’s phone number to guarantee a smooth delivery process. Our local office’s staff members, who serve as couriers, may call recipients to confirm they are at home during the scheduled delivery time.

However, please be aware that in some instances, we won’t contact the recipient. This occurs when a third-party shipper like DHL, FedEx, or UPS handles the order, as they have their own address verification processes and procedures that we cannot influence.
 

How do I arrange a surprise delivery?

To request a surprise delivery without contacting your recipient in advance, please specify this in the “Comments” field of the order form. Keep in mind that we can’t guarantee your recipient will be home, and multiple delivery attempts may affect the freshness of flowers or perishable items. Additional delivery fees may apply for extra trips. We don’t recommend surprise deliveries for these reasons.
 

Can you deliver to hotels, hospitals, churches, or other non-traditional locations?

How to order a gift for delivery overseas?

Is it possible to know the wine brand in the basket before making a payment?

While you can choose the wine type and origin, the specific brand names may differ across the countries we serve. As a result, we commit to delivering a bottle that matches the general description, considering both the wine type and its origin, rather than guaranteeing a particular brand.

How do I receive delivery confirmation?

At the end of the specified delivery day (US time), our local offices will email you an electronic confirmation. In some cases, it may take up to 24 hours for confirmation due to remote locations. If your order is delayed, we’ll notify you via email or phone.
 

Why is my Order tracking status still “in process” even though the delivery time has passed?

It can take up to 24 hours to send electronic delivery confirmation. Some remote locations may not have internet access, so please be patient. Our updates are done manually to ensure attention to detail, so check again in a few hours.
 

Why doesn’t your Order tracking page provide a shipping company’s tracking code?

We don’t always use shipping companies for deliveries. In some cases, gifts are delivered by local couriers. You can contact us to inquire about your order status, and we’ll be happy to help.

Can I pay in my local currency?

Our invoice will generate your order total in USD and your local currency. When you use your credit card, you will automatically be charged in your currency based on the exchange rate used by your card’s issuing bank. We can always provide you with the approximate total in your currency based on the current exchange rate.
 

Can you deliver the same gift to multiple countries?

Yes, with some restrictions. We offer an extensive catalog of gifts available in most of the countries where we deliver. You can view our gifts for worldwide delivery here and check pricing and availability details. Other items in our catalog may be available for delivery in multiple countries, but the selection can vary by region. If an item you’re interested in isn’t available in a specific country, we may still be able to deliver a similar item, but the price and brands may differ. Do I have to use your bulk order form for multiple gifts?

If you’re ordering more than three gifts at once, yes. Filling out the form as completely as possible helps us save time and validate addresses, and ensures the shortest possible handling and shipping time. The form might seem intimidating initially, but it’s easy to use once you get the hang of it. Instructions are included on the second page of the spreadsheet, and you can also watch this short video. If you order for multiple recipients to the same address, separate delivery fees may apply, as we may have to ship the gifts individually. In some cases, we can provide a shipping discount for multiple recipients at the same address. You will also be entitled to a corporate discount based on the purchase volume. Please contact us for an accurate quote for your bulk order.
 

There is an issue with my order. What should I do?

If there’s an issue with your order, please inform us about what’s wrong, including details about the delivered items, packaging, and a picture if possible. We will investigate the issue and get back to you within 24–48 hours.
 

Does the order price include shipping, taxes, and customs duties?

Our prices include taxes, customs, and duties but do not include shipping. You can find shipping costs to all countries here.
 

Can I reorder for previous recipients?

To reorder for the same recipients as last year, contact us, and we’ll send you an updated bulk order form or a list of recipients with their contact information. Verify their details, add or delete recipients, choose your gifts, and send the order back for processing.
 

How do I apply my discount?

When placing your bulk order, mention in your email that you’d like us to calculate your discount or include a discount code (if known). If you don’t have a discount code, corporate discounts are calculated based on the volume of your order.
 

Do the gifts you send cross international borders?

We maintain warehouses in each country or region we serve to minimize shipping times and costs.
 

Can I send multiple gifts at the same time?

Yes, we specialize in large orders to multiple recipients. Download our electronic order form here, fill it out, and email it back to us for processing. We’ll confirm your order and process your payment.
